Academic Calendars
Academic calendars are approved by the Faculty Senate. At the January 23, 2008 meeting, a proposal was approved creating a system of calendar generation based on consistent formulas including number of days, etc. The 2009-2010 calendar was approved with some changes over previous years (for example there are now 69 days of instruction in the Fall and 67 in the Spring). A modification was also made to the previously approved Spring 2009, reducing the days of instruction to 67.
* This is a proposed academic calendar, for planning purposes. At the first meeting of the Faculty Senate each Fall, the proposed calendar two years out will be reviewed and approved.
