the Office of the Registrar may not release non-directory information, including grades, to parents, families, or legal guardians without the signed consent of the student.
How can I pay my son/daughter's tuition and fees?
Under FERPA
the Office of the Registrar may not release student financial information to parents, families, or legal guardians. The student must verbally inform you about his or her financial account, or he or she must provide written consent authorizing you to receive and inspect their financial statements.
My employer or insurance company require proof of my child's enrollment in school in order to maintain benefits. How do I obtain this information?
An Enrollment Verification is an official document provided by the Office of the Registrar via the National Student Clearinghouse
. This document verifies dates of attendance, student status (full-time or part-time) and academic standing.
Parents may use the Office of the Registrar's Enrollment Verification Web Application to verify a student's enrollment. Additionally, students can request an Enrollment Verification through ESTHER
.
Special forms from insurance agencies to be completed by the Office of the Registrar should be submitted to the Office of the Registrar by the student and will be completed in 3 – 5 business days.
