ECAPP (Degree Audit)
The Office of the Registrar uses ECAPP (Esther’s Curriculum, Advising, Program Planning), also known as a degree audit, to monitor each undergraduate student's progress in fulfilling his/her university requirements. Students who wish to monitor their progress toward degree completion may request a Degree Audit through ESTHER
.
Please note: You cannot request an ECAPP until you first declare a primary major.
To request an ECAPP:
Go to Student Services and Account Information > Student Records & Account information > ECAPP Degree Evaluation.
Select the most recent term from the menu if the current term is not listed as the default.
Click Submit.
Click Request Audit.
Your request is now pending and the results will be available in 24 hours.
To view a requested ECAPP:
Go to Student Services and Account Information > Student Records & Account information > ECAPP Degree Evaluation.
Select Current Evaluations.
Select the most current evaluation.
Select one of the following:
General Requirements: Provides an overview of the evaluated Program and Areas only.
Detail Requirements: Provides a more detailed description of why you met (or didn’t meet) a Program or Area. It does this by displaying Group and Rule information as well.
Additional Information: Provides a list of In Progress courses, indicating the Areas or Groups they may be filling.
Click Submit.
Please note:
- ECAPP does NOT monitor major or departmental course requirements. It only monitors university requirements. ECAPP is also not a replacement for your advising program. Rather, it is a tool that you and your advisors can use to monitor your academic progress.
- ECAPP is not an official degree audit until it is certified as such by the Office of the Registrar.
- ECAPP is a snapshot of your university requirements taken at the time of your request. It does not automatically update when a change has been made to your record (i.e., grade change, adding or dropping a course, posting transfer credit, pass/fail conversion, etc.).
