Preparing for Graduation

Some things you should do your senior year:

In the fall:

• Apply for a degree before October 30, 2009.
• Request an ECAPP degree audit to see how many university requirements you have completed.
• Meet with your academic advisor to ensure that you will fulfill all the requirements for your major and/or minor.

In the spring:

• Visit the Rice Bookstore and your college coordinator about your regalia, cap, gown, hoods, and stolls.
• Consult the Commencement schedule of events .

After commencement:

• Collect your diploma (available mid-to-late July)
• Login to ESTHER to update your contact information.
• Remember: Your Rice University e-mail address remains active until the August following graduation.
• Remember: ESTHER accounts are active indefinitely after graduation. As a graduate, you retain the ability to login and access your account at any time. You are encouraged to keep your contact information current at all times.
