Fall 2017 Academic Calendar Updates

Due to Hurricane Harvey, changes have been made to the Fall 2017 academic calendar.

The following end of Week 1 (8/25/2017) deadline has been moved to the end of Week 2 (9/1/2017):

• Last day for instructors to submit final grades to resolve "Incomplete" (INC) grades for courses taken in Spring and Summer 2017

The following end of Week 2 (9/1/2017) deadlines have been moved to the end of Week 3 (9/8/2017):

• Last day to complete late registration
• Last day to add courses
• Last day to adjust variable credit for courses online via ESTHER
• Last day to designate a credit course as "Audit" or vice versa
• Last day to convert a "Pass/Fail" to an earned letter grade for courses taken in Spring or Summer 2017
• Last day to withdraw with a 100% refund of tuition and fees
• Last day for tuition adjustment for part-time students

The following Week 3 deadline has been eliminated:

• Last day to withdraw with a 70% refund of tuition

The following end of Week 7 (10/6/2017) deadlines have been moved to the end of Week 8 (10/13/2017):

• Last day to drop courses for full-term courses
• Last day for instructors to submit Mid-semester Grades for first-year undergraduate students online via ESTHER
• College course plans due to Dean of Undergraduates office for Spring 2018

The following end of Week 10 (10/27/2017) deadline have been moved to the end of Week 11 (11/3/2017):

• Last day to designate a full-term course status to "Pass/Fail" option
