As noted in the Spring 2024 Academic Calendar, the Fall 2024 Registration Course Request Period opened two weeks ago.

At Rice University, registration for undergraduate students is a two-part process: 

1. Students first submit their desired course selections via ESTHER during an official Course Request Period
2. Students then perform "Adds" and "Drops" via ESTHER after the start of the Add/Drop Period  

If you have not yet done so, please log in to ESTHER, clear all of your registration holds, and make your initial course selections for Fall 2024. The Course Request Period will end at 5:00pm, tomorrow, Friday, April 5th. Afterward, registration processing will take place, and results will be e-mailed to students by the afternoon on Monday, April 8th. On Wednesday, April 10th, the Registration Add/Drop Period will officially begin.
