ATTENTION: All Undergraduate Students Registered in Full-Term Courses
RE: Semester Week Seven Deadline (Fall 2024) - Last Day to Drop Courses

We are in Week Seven (7) of the Fall semester. As noted in the Fall 2024 Academic Calendar, this Friday, October 11th is the:

• Last day to DROP courses online via ESTHER

PLEASE NOTE: 

1. If dropping a course will put you below 12 hours (full-time status), you will want to determine if this will affect your financial aid status, and you must make a Reduced Course Load Request and secure approval from the Office of Academic Advising prior to dropping to part-time (< 12 hours);
2. First-semester undergraduate students (Fall 2024 UG degree-seeking matriculants only) can drop up to the Last Day of Classes (12/06/2024);  these students must go to the Office of the Registrar or submit the Special Registration Form to registrar@rice.edu by 4:00 p.m.
