Friday, September 19

Deadline: Last day to complete late registration or add courses.
Deadline: Last day to drop courses without a fee
Deadline: Last day anticipated aid for fall shows as a credit on student accounts
Deadline: Last day to withdraw or drop to part-time with a 60% refund of tuition

Deadline: Last day to convert a "Pass/Fail" to an earned letter grade for courses taken in Spring 2003.
Deadline: Last day for instructors to submit final grades to clear "Incompletes" for courses taken in Spring 2003
Deadline: Last day to withdraw or drop to part-time with 50% refund of tuition

Friday, October 3 Deadline: Last day to withdraw or drop to part-time with 40% refund of tuition
Friday, October 10

Deadline: Mid-semester grades for first-year undergraduate students due.
Deadline: College course plans due to Vice President for Student Affairs
Deadline: Last day to withdraw or drop to part-time with 30% refund of tuition

Monday, October 13 (through Tuesday, October 14) MIDTERM RECESS
Wednesday, October 15

All classes normally held on Monday meet; all Wednesday classes canceled (to equalize holidays by days of the week during the semester)
Esther web-product "goes-live". Students may begin perusing the new software application they will need to register for classes for Spring 2004.

Friday, October 17 Deadline: Last day to withdraw or drop to part-time with 20% refund of tuition
Friday, October 24 Deadline: Last day to withdraw or drop to part-time with 10% refund of tuition
Friday, October 31

Deadline: last day to drop courses for all graduate students and "returning" undergraduate students
Deadline: Last day to designate a course status to "Pass/Fail" option.
Deadline: Last day to file the following in the Office of Graduate Studies for mid-year conferral of degree: Thesis masters candidacy petitions; Certification of non-thesis masters; Form for candidacy masters; Ph.D. candidacy petitions

Monday, November 3 Deadline: Last day to file an application for mid-year degree conferral with the Office of the Registrar
Friday, November 14 Deadline: Last day to complete financial aid application for Fall 2003
Monday, November 17 (through Wednesday, November 19) Self-scheduling of final examinations in undergraduate courses
Monday, November 17 (through Friday, January 16, 2004) 1st Registration, Add/Drop PIN is active for undergraduates for Spring 2004 registration
Monday, November 17 (through Sunday, November 23) Spring 2004 registration begins - undergraduates are subject to the Priority Registration timetable
Wednesday, November 19 @ 5:00 p.m. Deadline: Last day to self-schedule final examinations in undergraduate courses
Friday, November 21 Deadline: Last day to file an application for a May 2004 conferral of degree with the Office of the Registrar
Monday, November 24 Students who failed to register last week will be assessed a $50 "Failure to Register" fee.
Thursday, November 27 (through Friday, November 28) THANKSGIVING RECESS - (HOLIDAY - NO CLASSES)
Friday, December 5

LAST DAY OF CLASSES
Deadline: (for Fall 2003 matriculants only)
Last day to drop courses - students must go to the Office of the Registrar by 5:00 p.m.
Deadline: For a mid-year conferral of degree, students must submit theses to the Office of Graduate Studies by 12:00 noon
Deadline: Disenrollment occurs for failure to pay amounts owed to the university
Deadline: All Faculty Evaluations are due to the Office of the Registrar by 5:00 p.m.

Saturday, December 6 (through Tuesday, December 9) Self-scheduled final examinations ONLY
Wednesday, December 10 (through Wednesday, December 17) Scheduled examinations begin and self-scheduled final examinations continues
Wednesday, December 17 @ 5:00 p.m. Deadline: All take home final examinations are due
Thursday, December 18, 2003 (through Monday, January 5, 2004) On-line registration is shut-down to accommodate end-of-term processing and the winter holidays.
Friday, December 24 Deadline: All grades are due in the Office of the Registrar
