Summer Degree Conferral

Deadline: Last day to file an application for an August degree conferral with the Office of the Registrar (All Students)
Deadline: Last day to file the following in the Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies for August degree conferral: thesis master's candidacy petitions, certification of non-thesis master's, form for candidacy master's, Ph.D. candidacy petitions
Friday, August 14, 2020 Deadline: For an August conferral of degree, students must submit thesis to the Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies by 12:00 noon

Summer Sessions

  • Unless otherwise noted, dates and information apply to both Rice undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Students are charged per credit hour; LPAP billed @ 1 hour.
  • Early matriculants are charged an additional Health Services Fee.
