RE: Reminder: Fall 2020 Academic Relief Accommodation

This is a reminder of the Fall 2020 academic relief accommodation that was approved by the Rice University Faculty Senate on November 18, 2020. "For Fall 2020 courses, all Rice students in all programs will have until after the conclusion of the term to drop a course. For Fall 2020 degree candidates the deadline to drop a course is Wednesday, January 6, 2021; for all other students the deadline is Wednesday, January 13, 2021.

PLEASE NOTE: To initiate the Late Drop*, please complete a Special Registration Form, available at:
https://registrar.rice.edu/students/special-registration

To request the Late Drop*, on the Special Registration Form, please check the "Late Drop" box and submit the completed form to the Office of the Registrar at e-mail: registrar@rice.edu

* Note: International Students will need approval from OISS before any Late Drop can be processed.
