Class Meeting Locations

As a general practice, Rice does not publicly list meeting locations on the Course Schedule. This is primarily done to add a layer of security between the general public and the Rice Community so that only those who have a legitimate interest in the meeting location are able to obtain it.

Meeting locations for classes can be viewed in different locations, depending on your role in the Rice Community, after you have authenticated on different locations.

Students

After classrooms have been assigned for a given term, you may view the meeting location in ESTHER, in the registration area of your Student Schedule or your Student Detail Schedule.

Faculty

After classrooms have been assigned for a given term, the assigned classroom will appear on your Course Roster in ESTHER.

Any Member of the Rice Community

After classrooms have been assigned for a given term, the assigned classroom will appear on the Banner Course Search, which will require SSO login. This site is similar to the site that students use to search for and register for courses.
