Student Request to Withhold Directory Information

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy (FERPA) provides for educational records to identify certain information as directory information, which may be disclosed without the student's permission. In certain instances, students may not want this directory information disclosed. Students have the right to request the withholding of directory information, and within ESTHER there is an online form where students can conveniently make this request.

**PLEASE NOTE: Students who request to restrict directory information should understand that their names will not appear in the online directory, printed campus directories, online lists of prize winners, the President’s Honor Roll, and/or other official lists.
