Rice University awards transfer credit for certain college preparatory exams taken before they start their Rice career. Students are required to submit official score reports for any exams they wish to receive credit. The score reports will remain with the Office of the Registrar and become a part of the student's file at Rice University. Presently, Rice does not place a limit on the number of hours a student may earn via eligible exams.
To ensure that your AP scores match up with your Rice academic record, be sure to identify your name, date of birth, and Social Security Number with the College Board in the exact same way you identify, or expect to identify, yourself on your Rice application.
Students should instruct the College Board to include all exam results (Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior years) if applicable. Please do not mail your personal copy of your exam results. Hand-delivered or personal copies of exam results are not considered official and will not be reviewed by Rice.
Currently, there is not a deadline to submit official results. However, it is in the student's best interest to submit their results as soon as possible.
